Don Sayward - Wells Maine
On October 2, I was hunting with my 8 year old daughter out of a two
man ladder stand. She spotted two deer coming in from behind us. They were
small and I asked her what we should do. She wanted to take one. So at
20 yards I let the arrow fly, 45 minutes later we were dragging out a 50lb
button buck.
A very special hunt with my little girl.

permit for handicapped hunters using a crossbow.

Tracked this deer at night for my Dad. Went 60 yards after
a complete pass through. Look out next year deer. I am going
to be ten years old and finally hunting instead of tagging along.
Save a photo spot for my 2008 deer!
Can't wait to post your first deer

You and Ted are my hero's!

Aaron and Ian Henderson
with "Buster" and our first deer of 2007, a 105 lb doe shot in Camden at
6:15 on October 17th in the expanded archery zone. 15 yard double lung
pass through with 50 lb Matthews Switchback and 100 grain Thunderhead broadheads.
She ran 75 yards. Buster is my friend's blood tracking dog and we always
let him work the track to practice for those those not so easy recoveries.

( Pro-Hunter ) 50 cal at 50 yards in a cedar bog after three long days
of hard hunting. The deer went 60 yards after the shot ( Double lunged
) to the other side of the bog .
The deer's weight was 205 lbs. on a certified scale and had a main
frame of eight points with one kicker on the right beam, as you can see
the rack looks small for this deer but had a inside measurement of 19-1/2"
and a outside measurement of 22-1/4".
