It was my first time in the stand this season and I was only in it for
an hour. He came in after some rattling and grunting. I first saw him last
year on opening day , but could not get a clear shot. He weighted 180 lbs.
and has 8 points. The bases of his rack measures 5 1/2 & 5 1/4 inches.
He was shot a 40 yds with my 270.
This is my 7th buck and my personal best.

Another youth day deer. Dylan accompanied by his dad, Don Sprague,
caught this deer still in it's bed.
He took a 15 yard shot with his 44 Mag and hit it in the neck.
That deer never had a chance to get up on the wrong side of the bed that
day.
Congrats! Dylan on your first deer ever.

This is my first buck!
We had ~ 8” of fresh powder from the night before. I cut his
track and caught up with him in about a mile. 35 yard shot with my
270WSM through the lungs and heart. He dropped within 20ft.
