John Fortier - Farifield, Maine
Buck weighed 207 lbs with an 8 point rack.
Taken Nov. 28 in Fairfield, Maine
I shot this deer with 15 minutes left of the 2004 hunting season.
My father and I put in a lot of time scouting and determining what this
deer was doing. For a while there I thought I was going to get skunked
two years in a row. Guess luck was on my side.
Like the saying goes "I'd rather be lucky, then good"
I'll Take Lucky anyday! Nice job Jon!
Way to end the season!

Aaron Henderson - Belmont Maine
165 lb 6-point taken in
Veterans' day 2004 with 7mm-08.
Crept up on me at 7:30 during my pee/coffee break in my stand and when
I went to shoot, I discovered
that there was no bullet in the chamber! Lucklily, he stood there
behind some firs at 80 yards while I grunted at him and it allowed me to
jack a bullet in and get a shot off.
My son Ian, age 2, meets his next meals.
Well it looks like Ian is getting trained the right way!
Nice job Dad! Congratulations!
